What to See and What to Do in Palm Coast
When at the Residences at European Village, you are located in the heart of Flagler County. From your Residences Condominium you can access a wide variety of activities. BEACHES
The surf is up in Flagler Beach with its six miles of ocean frontage. Along with catching waves on the beach with the third largest break in Florida, you may want to simply enjoy a stroll on the beach or take in the array of unique shops and wonderfully diverse restaurants located in this untouched beach town.

PARKS
Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park is a favorite destination for a relaxing nature walk or visit the ruins of the old sugar mill plantation.
Gamble Rogers State Park
the wildlife is amazing; Sea turtles lay their eggs here May through September. During the fall, many migrating species of songbirds can be spotted gracefully flying along the Atlantic Ocean.
Haw Creek Preserve
offers a beautiful park for bird watching, boating, picnicking and hiking.

Flagler Beach



It's soft golden sands, lifeguards (in season), and proximity to facilities help make Flagler Beach the most popular in the county

Jungle Hut Road Park



This 2 acre park area offers beach access, paved parking, restrooms and outdoor shower facilities.

Malcompra County Park




Popular beach access amidst the Ocean Hammock Resort. There are plenty of parking spaces plus restrooms with outside shower.

Old Salt Road Park

River to Sea Preserve



Owned jointly by Flagler County and the Town of Marineland, River to Sea Preserve is a prized addition to Flagler County's unique and beautiful preserves, Beginning at the beach of the Atlantic Ocean and reaching west to the Matanzas River

Varn Park



Covering 8-acres, Varn Park offers wheel chair access to the beach plus restrooms with outdoor shower and parking.

GOLF
It’s always tee time in Palm Coast, the southeast golf destination of the U.S. with a lovely hometown feel.  Here, we feature eight breathtaking golf courses; the avid golfer may think he has found heaven on the 18th hole.  Links Magazine has called the Ocean Hammock Golf Club the “Pebble Beach of the East”.

Parks
Active
The Player’s Tennis Club, at the European Village with the 18 tennis courts, challenges everyone from the novice to the accomplished player.  The Club also hosts several United States Tennis Association sanctioned national events and offers hard, clay and grass surfaces.

Nearby Bunnell was Incorporated as a city in 1913, Bunnell is the oldest city in the county and holds the county seat.  It throws a rodeo that would make any roper proud, Flagler County’s Cracker Day Rodeo in March and its Fair and Youth Show in April brings visitors and locals back to a taste of early hometown life.

Leisure
If it is leisure activities you love, they are in abundance nearby; from canoeing, hiking, bird watching, tennis, bike riding, fresh and salt-water fishing and an amazing 165 holes of golf, Flagler County is the avid golfers paradise.  Whether you choose to drink in the natural surroundings, surrender to the serenity of our beaches or enjoy a round of golf, it is time to relax on the quiet side of Florida.      

The Holden House Museum, in Bunnell was built in 1918 by Pharmacist Tom Holden, contains Flagler County’s history dating back to 1917.  Also in Bunnell, the Flagler Auditorium brings a touch of culture with this state of the art facility.  It opened its doors for its first season in 1991 with the London Symphony Orchestra Quartet.  Its Broadway series has offered performances from national touring groups including Can Can, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie and The King and I.

FISHING
Boating and fishing in the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway is also a favorite pastime for visitors to Flagler County.  Both fresh and saltwater fishing can bring you the catch of the day here in Palm Coast.  Bing’s Landing, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, offers a boat launch and picnic facilities for visitors.  Who could pass up bird watching or casting a line off the Flagler Beach Municipal Pier?  Our locals are always waiting to tell you about the one that got away.

BIRD WATCHING
The Princess Place Preserve is a historic and environmental treasure.  The oldest standing home site in Flagler County offers a unique look into the past.  The 1,500-acre Preserve contains marshes, fresh water wetlands, hiking and horseback riding trails.  Visitors can also watch for a variety of birds and other wildlife. 

SHOPPING
Shopping experiences are abundant and varied beginning with quaint beachside shops and unique shops in the European Village in Palm Coast. 

Bunnell offers numerous antique and thrift shops for visitors wishing to take home a piece of Flagler County history.
